I usually find beauty in all of the seasons- even the greyest and dreariest months can be beautiful in their way but his past fall and winter felt a bit different to me - I felt that I needed to surround myself with colour and tap in to my memories of spring and summer when flowers were in bloom, the sun was shining and cottonwood and dandilion seeds were floating in the air.  Creating this painting and others in the series has brought me so much joy , I hope it brings you some joy as well.
Floral abstract, acrylic and touches of collage on a 24x24 wood panel, 1.5" deep. Finished with a coat of cold wax for protection and a beautiful satin finish. Sides are painted a cream white, wired and ready to hang.
